Institutions, philanthropies, and companies partner with ISG Research to generate rigorous, independent insight on the social issues shaping culture, trust, and public behavior.

Our work informs key decisions—grounding strategy, investment, communications, and institutional planning in evidence rather than assumption.

We engage globally in three primary roles:

Research Lead

Comprehensive research design and execution

As Research Lead, we design and execute full-scale qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research initiatives focused on knowledge, attitudes, trust, risk, perception, and behavior.

We lead the research process end-to-end, including:

  • Hypothesis development and research architecture
  • National and global survey design (Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior (KAB) frameworks, segmentation, benchmarking)
  • Online qualitative communities and in-depth interviews
  • Mixed-method and longitudinal studies
  • Cross-cultural and multi-region research execution
  • Advanced analysis and executive-level synthesis

This role is ideal for organizations seeking independent leadership on social issue research.

Research Advisor

Strengthening institutional research capacity

As Research Advisor, we work alongside internal research, insights, and leadership teams to provide independent guidance and methodological oversight.

Our advisory work includes:

  • Study design consultation and instrument review
  • Measurement framework development
  • Segmentation validation and refinement
  • Evaluation model design
  • Benchmarking and re-measurement planning
  • Interpretation of complex or sensitive findings

In this role, we ensure internal research efforts are rigorous, credible, and aligned with institutional priorities.

Social Insight Partner

Ongoing interpretation of cultural and behavioral shifts

For organizations navigating cultural, reputational, or systemic complexity, we serve as an ongoing social insight partner to leadership and boards.

This engagement may include:

  • Monitoring shifts in public trust and sentiment
  • Identifying emerging risk signals
  • Analyzing movement dynamics and issue evolution
  • Executive and board briefings
  • Scenario framing grounded in public insight
  • Translating research into institutional implications

This role provides leadership with an independent perspective on how evolving public realities may shape long-term positioning and decision-making.

ISG Research provides the independent insight leaders rely on when navigating complex social issues. By grounding leadership in credible social insight, we help institutions navigate complexity with confidence.
